.276 Pederson

The .276 Pederson round was originally planned for use in the M1 Garand rifle. It was to be on ten round en-bloc clips. The US Army, however, decided that it was better, in light of the upcoming war, to use the 30-06 Springfield in the Garand since 30-06 was already standard issue and stockpiled.
