Akershus University Hospital (Ahus) is a Norwegian Health Authority owned hospital. It is managed for the Norwegian state through the Eastern Regional Health Authority – Helse Øst (Health East). The Hospital has 4000 employees.


Location

The hospital is located in Lørenskog municipality, just outside the Norwegian capital Oslo, and near the Oslo airport Gardermoen (Norwegian main airport). The hospital has under divisions in Eidsvoll, Jessheim , Grorud and Lillestrøm.
