Ali Amini

Ali Amini (?—1992) was the Prime Minister of Iran from May 5, 1961 to July 19, 1962. Muhammad Reza Shah distrusted Amini's popularity and his friendship with John F. Kennedy. Amini was replaced by the Shah's close friend, Birjand landowner Assadollah Alam .
