Alken

Alken is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg near Hasselt. On January 1st, 2004 Alken had a total population of 11,036 (5,556 males and 5,480 females). The total area is 28.14 km² which gives a population density of 392.19 inhabitants per km².
