All Tomorrow's Parties

All Tomorrow's Parties is a music festival which takes place in the United Kingdom and the United States. Artists, usually musicians, are invited to curate the festival, a two-day or three-day event, inviting their favourite performers to play. The idea of this is that it is akin to dipping into the curator's record collection, or having them make a mixtape for the audience.

In the past, ATP has been curated by:

UK 2000: Mogwai
UK 2001: Tortoise
UK 2002: Shellac
US 2002: Sonic Youth
UK 2003: Autechre
US 2003: Matt Groening
UK 2004 1: Mogwai, Tortoise, Shellac
UK 2004 2: Sonic Youth, Stephen Malkmus, ATP founders
US 2004: Modest Mouse
UK 2004 3: Jake Chapman and Dinos Chapman
UK 2005 1: Slint
