Anju Bobby George

Anju Bobby George (born on April 19, 1977) is an Indian athlete.

She won the Bronze Medal in Long Jump at the 2003 World Championships in Athletics in Paris, thereby becoming the first Indian to win a medal in the World Championships in Athletics. She also won the Bronze Medal in Long Jump at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester and the Gold Medal at the Asian Games in Busan. She was awarded the Arjuna Award in the year 2003.
