Anne Charleston

Anne Charleston (born in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian actress who is currently based in Ireland. She is probably most famous for her role as Madge Bishop, in the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours, which she played from 1986-1992 and again from 1996-2001. Prior to this she also played the role of Deidre Kean in another Australian series, Prisoner.

Since leaving Neighbours, Anne has been in such programmes as Dossa and Joe , where she played the role of Dossa. She was also in the last series of Crossroads in 2003, where she played the role of Betty Waddell. Most recently she was a contestant in the second series of the Living TV reality television show, I'm Famous and Frightened!
