Annie Ross

Annie Ross (born 25 July, 1930) is a jazz singer. Best known as a member of the trio Lambert, Hendricks & Ross , she has also had an extensive solo career, both singing and appearing in a number of movies.

Ross was born in Surrey, England as Annabelle Short.

She is one of the early practitioners of a singing style known as vocalese.
