Auchinleck

Auchinleck (sometimes pronounced Affleck) is a town with a population of ca. 3,900 situated 8km south-east of Mauchline , and a few km north-west of Cumnock in East Ayrshire, Scotland. Near the city is Auchinleck House, sometime home of the lawyer, diarist and biographer James Boswell, 9th Laird of Auchinleck.
