Australia Zoo

Australia Zoo at Beerwah , Queensland, Australia is owned by Steve Irwin and Terri Irwin, who costar on the The Crocodile Hunter, which is the name of their unconventional nature documentary series on television, as well as a spin-off series Croc Files . Their popular programs are shown on the Animal Planet television network in the United States.

Although perhaps best-known for the crocodiles, the Zoo features many exhibits of Autralian wildlife, including asian otters, the koalas, wombats, tasmanian devils, snakes, tigers, cheetahs, and a giant Galapagos tortoise called Harriet, the world's oldest living resident.

Australia Zoo was named Australia's Best Major Tourist Attraction for 2003-2004.
