Baltasar Carlos, Prince of the Asturias

Baltasar Carlos was the Prince of the Asturias, and the son of King Philip IV of Spain and Isabella of Bourbon. He was born 17th October 1629 in Madrid, and died 9th March 1646 in Zaragoza at the age of sixteen. He was depicted in a number portraits by Diego de Velazquez.
