Bananadine

Banana peel supposedly contains the chemical bananadine which, when correctly prepared, can be smoked with hallucinogenic symptoms. The recipe was made famous when it appeared in The Anarchist's Cookbook but it is now believed to be a hoax, originally published in The Berkeley Barb in 1967.
