Bang Bus

Bang Bus is one of the most well-known "reality porn" sites on the Internet, run by Ox Ideas . The site consists of girls being "picked up on the street," then being persuaded to engage in intercourse with men in the back of a bus. The series is shot primarily in Miami, Florida, and has spawned a number of sister and imitation porn sites.

Although the theme of the site centers around the ease with which supposedly unknown women can be persuaded to engage in hardcore sexual acts, the women are in fact paid in advance. Despite this, Bang Bus is regarded as a highly controversial website, in part due to its popularity and the extreme degree to which it exemplifies the arguably anti-feminist themes common to hardcore pornography. For this reasons, it has appeared in multiple news stories, particularly in the Miami area, where the site has earned a certain degree of infamy.

News investigations

On October 14, 2004, the Miami New Times published an investigation of the porn site based primarily on interviews with a woman who, in desperate need of money for an abortion, performed once for the site. She claimed that she never received her share of the promised $1200, with the father instead running off with all the money. Ironically, the fictitious Bang Bus videos commonly end with the female performer never being paid promised money. [1]

On November 18, 2004, the South Florida news station and website Local 10 ran a somewhat more naive video segment and article in which the main point was that the scenes in Bang Bus' videos are staged, a fact probably obvious to most of the site's viewers. [2] They also ran a follow-up in which they asked police whether the Bang Bus' activities are legal. The police responded that they were, and that the bus' windows are tinted, to avoid violation of indecent exposure laws. [3]

Immortal Technique references the bang bus in his album Revolutionary Vol.2. "Underground money with honeys up in the whip. Bangbus.com nigga fuckin your bitch."
