Bank Transitway Station


Bank Transitway Station or Bank Street Station is a bus-stop on Ottawa, Canada's transitway served by OC Transpo buses. It is located on the main central part of the transitway, which is part of the 95 line, 96 line and 97 line. Bank is named for Bank Street which is located perpindicular to the transitway about half a block west of the station. There are actually two separate stations as in the downtown part of Ottawa, the transitway splits up with westbound routes on Albert Street and east bound routes on Slater Street. At this part of the transitway, buses must share the road with other vehicles. The westbound station is located on Albert Street between Bank Street and O'Connor Street while the eastbiybd station is on Slater Street also between Bank and O'Connor. As well as the 95, 96 and 97 bus routes, the 3*, 8, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 43, 45, 50, 51, 55, 57, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63. 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 73, 76, 77, 82, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 124**, 126**, 140**, 148**, 149**, 156, 172, 176, 178, 180, 182, 221**, 231**, 232**, 262, 263 and 283 routes go there.
