Behind the Mask (novel)

Behind the Mask is a novel written by The Silence of the Lambs author Thomas Harris to be published in 2005. It is set before Red Dragon in Hannibal Lecter's early years. It will explain how Lecter developed his particular appetite for evil.

The book should be published November 29, 2005 by Delacorte Press .
