Bhavani, Tamil Nadu

Bhavani is a town in Erode District of Tamil Nadu state in southern India. It lies at the confluence of the Cauvery River (Kaveri) and the Bhavani River. The Sangameswarar Temple was built at the confluence of the two rivers, and is an important pilgrimage spot in South India.
