Bièvre

Bièvre is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Namur. On January 1st, 2004 Bièvre had a total population of 3,103 (1,544 males and 1,559 females). The total area is 109.59 km² which gives a population density of 28.31 inhabitants per km².


The Bièvre is also a river of the Île-de-France region that flows into the Seine in Paris. It is nowadays buried in tunnels for its whole course within Paris; as of 2004, the city of Paris is considering uncovering some sections of the Bièvre.
