Big 5 Sporting Goods is a sporting goods retailer headquartered in El Segundo, California with 309 stores in ten western states. Steven G. Miller is the Chairman, President, and CEO.

The Big 5 name is derrived from its start as five California located army-navy surplus stores in the 1950s. For the 2004 fiscal year, Big 5 had $778.9 million in sales.
