Biggar, Scotland

Biggar is a burgh in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, situated near the River Clyde. it has several museums, including the Moat Park Heritage Centre , the Gladstone Court Museum , the Greenhill Covenanters Museum , the Biggar Gasworks Museum and a puppet museum.

Hugh MacDiarmid lived near the town, as did Ian Hamilton Finlay.
