Body cavity search

A body cavity search is a search conducted of various body cavities for contraband such as narcotics. Contraband hidden in such a way are often stored inside of a double bagged condom to protect the product from becoming contaminated. Body cavity searches most commonly refer to rectal cavity searches, but can include vaginal, oral, and stomach cavities.

Weapons have also been known to have been found during body cavity searches, particularly self-made weapons in prisons.
