Bulgarian Railroad Company

The Bulgarian Railroad Company (BRC) is the first privately-held railroad company to obtain a license to transport freight over Bulgaria's national railroad network.

Control of BRC is shared by five Bulgarian companies and one Romanian company, Grup Feroviar Roman Bucharest . BRC's chairman is Vladimir Dunchev , who was formerly the general director of the Bulgarian State Railway Company (BDZ).

On April 13 2005, Bulgaria's transport ministry awarded the first private license to haul freight over the nation's rail network to the Bulgarian Railroad Company.
