Trichoptera

(Redirected from Caddisfly)

Trichoptera = Caddisfly... they are very cute little buggers who build their homes out of small rocks they glue to themselves with their silk, or a bouroughed out twig to make a protective little home. Turn over a rock in a stream, and you are likely to find a few of them stuck to the bottom, presumably taking a long nap.

Trich means hair. Ptera means wings.
