Category:Disputed convictions

This category lists people who have been convicted of crimes, but whose convictions have been controversial. People listed in this category have not currently been proven to have been wrongfully convicted, although their cases may be under review.

This category should therefore not be confused with Category:Wrongfully convicted people, as people listed here have not been proven innocent. However, if a person listed here is eventually found to have been wrongfully convicted, they should be moved to that category and removed from this one.
