Cavum tympani (the middle ear) is built up mainly of three bones:
1) Malleus
2) Incus
3) Stapes
M. tensor tympani and M. stapedius are two musceles conected to the bones.
Malleus is connected to membrana tymapni. Sound is transmitted in this pattern:
Membrana tymapni → Malleus → Incus → Stapes → Fenestra vesitbuli
