Chinese beer
Tsingtao Brewery is the most famous beer made in China. It, along with China Blue Ribbon, is one of the major brewing groups in the country. There are a few brewpubs in major cities, fueled with brewing talent from the national brewing school, which is a Sino-German joint venture. The most well-known craft brewer in China is Kaiwei Beer House, a brewpub chain based out of Wuhan.
Most Chinese beer, however, is light pale lager (ranging from 3.3 - 4.0%).
