Churchill River (Hudson Bay)

The Churchill River is a major river in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada. It is about 1,600 km long.

Its source is near Churchill Lake in north west Saskatchewan, from where it flows east through a series of lakes, including Highrock Lake , Granville Lake (on which Leaf Rapids lies), Southern Indian Lake and Gauer Lake before emptying into the Button Bay inlet of Hudson Bay at Churchill, Manitoba.
