Cinemax

Cinemax is a cable television network that provides movies, special features, erotica programming for adults, and other services to consumers via subscriptions. Cinemax is owned by the Home Box Office Group (which is a subsidiary of Time Warner Incorporated). The service was launched by HBO in August 1980.

Cinemax has become notable for regularly showing softcore erotica late at night. The network is often referred to as "Skin-a-max" or "Skinemax" for this reason.
