Concert

A concert comprises a performance, usually involving some degree of formality, and particularly a performance featuring music. Other terms for a musical performance include "show" and "gig," which imply a less formal setting. For example, it would be uncommon to hear the phrase "punk rock concert."

A concert should not be confused with a concerto, which is an individual work of music.
