Constance E. Cumbey

Constance E. Cumbey was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States, as a Seventh Day Adventist. She currently works a lawyer in Detroit, Michigan; she has been a practicing attorney since 1975, and has served as a national officer for the National Association of Women Lawyers .

She is a well known Christian author who, after converting to the Baptist faith, first exposed what she saw as the dangers of the New Age movement. She gave up her law practice for a while to dedicate herself to writing and public speaking to this end. She created controversy with her belief that there was a conspiracy within the broad New Age movement concerning the antichrist. Recently, Cumbey has gained notoriety for her allegations concerning Spanish statesman Javier Solana's possibly being the Beast referred to in Biblical prophecy in the books of Daniel and Revelation.
