Denver, the Last Dinosaur

Denver, the Last Dinosaur was a children's cartoon originally released in 1988. It was syndicated nationally throughout the US. The show revolved around the adventures that Denver, a small and friendly tyranosaur-like dinosaur in modern times, shared with his friends Jeremy, Wally, Shades, Mario, Heather, and Casey, as they attempted to outwit various people, such as the unscrupulous concert promoter Morton Fizzback, who wanted to capture Denver and exploit his magical qualities.
