A Document of Identity is a form of identification issued to Australian citizens by the Federal Government of Australia. The primary purpose of the Document of Identity is to allow an Australian citizen to travel to Norfolk Island without the need for a passport. Documents of Identity can reportedly be obtained from Australia Post.
