FasTracks

(Redirected from Fastracks)

FasTracks is a new light rail and diesel commuter rail project being built in the Denver, Colorado area. 120 miles on six new rail lines are being built all at once over the next 12 years, making it one of the most ambitious mass transportation projects in American history. Citizens approved a sales tax hike to fund the measure. A survey commissioned by the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation this year found that, in general, the more recently one had moved to Denver, the more likely one was to support the plan. End-points will be in Longmont, north Thornton, Denver International Airport, Ridge Gate Parkway, Littleton, Golden, and Arvada. FasTracks will also feature a stop near the University of Colorado at Boulder and a connecting line through Aurora.
