Federal Highway

The Federal Highway is a short highway in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory in Australia. The Federal Highway starts at its junction with the Hume Highway near the city of Goulburn. It runs about 80km south west to Canberra, the national capital of Australia. The Federal Highway runs past Lake George. Since 1985 a project has been operating to reconstruct the Federal Highway as a 4-lane divided highway. After 20 years this project has been almost completed.
