Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center

The Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center is a branch of the United States Navy specializing in numerical and computational weather prediction. An outgrowth of the Navy Numerical Weather Project , they operate some of the most powerful supercomputers in North America. The center is located in Monterey, California.
