Fortitude Valley, Queensland

Fortitude Valley, also known simply as the Valley is a suburb of central Brisbane, Australia. It is the hub of Brisbane's nightlife, renowned for its nightclubs and adult entertainment. In recent years, the reputation of the valley has improved, previously marred by crime and the high number of homeless people wandering the streets.

The Brunswick Street Mall is the centrepiece of the Valley, boasting several clubs, restaurants, fast food outlets, hotels, and venues for live bands. Security improvements in recent years for the mall include a small police station, and security cameras. The Valley is also home to Brisbane's Chinatown.

Fortitude Valley has undergone dramatic residential and commercial development, with it becoming the most rapidly growing suburb in Brisbane. Its most noticeable recent development is Cathedral Place which boasts some 650 units.
