Gamma wave

A gamma wave is a large, fast brain wave associated with perception and consciousness.

Gamma waves are among the highest-frequency brain waves and appear to be involved in higher mental activity, including perception and consciousness. Research has shown that gamma waves are continuously present during low voltage fast neocortical activity (LVFA) occurring during waking or active sleep. [1][2][3]
