George Bovell

George Bovell III is the ninth person ever to win an Olympic medal for Trinidad and Tobago. His bronze in Athens in 2004 represents the 12th medal that Trinidad has achieved in the Olympics. This medal was also the first for the English speaking Caribbean in the Athens 2004 games, and that region's first medal ever in the sport of swimming.
