Georgy Mikhailovich Beriev

Georgy Mikhailovich Beriev (February 13, 1903–July 14, 1979), founded the Soviet Union's Beriev Design Bureau, which concentrated on amphibious aircraft. Beriev graduated from the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute (now St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University) in 1930.
