God Only Knows

"God Only Knows" is a hit song by the American rock band The Beach Boys from their album Pet Sounds.

It was one of the first pop songs to use "God" in its title. As a consequence, many radio stations at the time refused to play it. Paul McCartney once said that this is the greatest song ever written.

While Rolling Stone magazine recently named it the 25th greatest song ever, it only reached no. 39 on the charts in 1966.
