Great South Africans was a series that ran on SABC3 in South Africa, based on the licsenced format of the BBC series Great Britons. Hosted by Noeleen Maholwana Sangqu and Denis Beckett , the series asked viewers to nominate for their greatest South African.

The top 100 were revealed on-air, and the top 10 were then voted upon.
