Heteractis magnifica

The Ritteri anemone, Heteractis magnifica, is often paired with anemone fish, or clownfish, such as the Cinamon (Melanopus), Clarki (Clarkii), False Percula (Ocellaris), Maldives (Nigripes), Percula (Percula), and the Pink Skunk (Perideraion).

This species of anemone lives in the Indo-Pacific area, and can grow up to 3 feet (1 meter) in diameter in the wild, though in captivity it rarely exceeds 10 inches. It consumes both vertebrates and invertebrates, including fish and crustaceans.
