Hipgnosis

Hipgnosis was a British art design group that formed in 1968 which specialized in creating cover art for rock albums, mostly notably for Genesis, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Hipgnosis consisted primarily of Storm Thorgerson, Aubrey Powell and Peter Christopherson. The group dissolved in 1983, but Thorgerson still works on Pink Floyd and other album designs.

The cover for A Saucerful of Secrets was the first work of Hipgnosis.
