Homo

Homo can refer to multiple things:

• The Latin word for man or human
  • The genus Homo (see also hominid)
• The Greek word for same, usually as prefix in compound words, e.g. homonym
• A term for homosexuals, often derogatory.
• (in all capital letters: HOMO) an acronym for Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital, see: HOMO/LUMO
• HomO: the short form for the Swedish Ombudsman against Discrimination on Grounds of Sexual Orientation.
