Honest Tea

Honest Tea is a tea company based in Bethesda, Maryland, with plants in New Kensington, Pennsylvania (outside of Pittsburgh) and Watsonville, California. Honest Tea as founded in 1998 by Seth Goldman (now President and CEO, or as he calls it, "Tea-EO") and Barry Nalebuff, to sell "bottled iced tea that tastes like tea"; a less-sweetened alternative to sugary soft-drinks and low-quality bottled tea. They are best known for their line of bottled tea products, but they also produce tea bags. All of their teas are certified kosher, some of their teas and many of their ingredients are certified organic. Honest Tea is a privately held, rather than a publicly-traded company.

  • First Nation Peppermint is an orgainic herbal tea based on a Crow Indian recipe, and made in partnership with the Crow Nation.
