Hopwas

Hopwas is a village between the towns of Lichfield and Tamworth in Staffordshire, England. It is situated on the north bank of the River Tame and astride the Coventry Canal.

The novelist Guy N Smith was born in Hopwas.

Just north of Hopwas is Hopwas Hayes a large area of ancient woodland.
