Hum (band)

Hum was a band. Classic line-up: Matt Talbott (guitars/vocals), Tim Lash (guitars), Jeff Dimpsey (bass), Bryan St. Pere (drums). Albums: Is Like Kissing an Angel (She Said) [demo - 1990], Fillet Show (1991), Electra 2000 (1993), You'd Prefer an Astronaut (1995), and the best album of the decade, Downward Is Heavenward (1998). They broke up in 2000, but reunited in 2003 at Furnacefest. Recent rumors put the band recording the unreleased Inklings at Matt's Great Wester Recorders studio in Champaign.
