Hydrogen highway

Proposed hydrogen highways are chains of hydrogen-equipped filling stations and other infrastructure which allow hydrogen powered cars to travel long distances.

One example of a hydrogen highway is the British Columbia Hydrogen Highway (BC Hydrogen HighwayTM) which is planned to link Vancouver and Whistler, twin hosts of the 2010 Winter Olympics, and is targetted for full implementation by the start of the games.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has also announced a "California Hydrogen Highway Network initiative".
