InterCellular Adhesion Molecules

InterCellular Adhesion Molecules are molecules with a biological function. For example, ICAM-1 promotes cell-cell adhesion from most white blood cells, related to their immunological response to wound or bacterial infection (see ICAM in Molecular Biology of The Cell at PubMed).
