J.P. Bush

J.P. Bush arrived in San Francisco in 1845 as a cabin boy on the New England Whaler Margaret, then deserted and became one of O’Farrell’s assistants in mapping the city’s streets in 1847, and that O’Farrell had named Bush Street for him.
