J. Richardson Dilworth

J. Richardson Dilworth (?-1997) was a businessman and academic. Dilworth was born in Long Island, New York. He graduated from Yale University in 1938, and Yale Law school in 1942.

Dilworth is best known for being one of the key managers of the Rockefeller family fortune. He was a senior financial adviser to the family for 23 years retiring in 1981. In his service Dilworth served as the chair of Rockefeller Center as well as many other corporations associated with the family.
